My first HR20 problem

Hi all,

I had my first problem with my HR20. I went on vacation and I left the unit on standby. When I got back it would not respond to any buttons at all. I had to unplug it and plug it back in to get anything to work. I left Saturday morning and returned this evening (Thursday). I am not sure exactly when it locked up but it did record the race Sunday and something Monday night. The only other show I know that was set to record was Wednesday night but it was not recorded.

I had 40% free space on the DVR when I got it back up and running.

Any ideas how to avoid this problem in the future?

Doubt there is anything that you did to cause this. The HR20 is basically a computer and certainly prone to crashing (significantly less now than when it was first introduced). This shouldn't be any cause for concern unless it becomes a frequent issue.
