I am tired of the "I'm not authorized " routine. Who do I talked to get a charge removed from an account for a IRD I did not order, let alone receive to be sent back? I don't want to get in to all that went into it, but suffice to say my father in law was shipped an HD IRD he did not order and did not receive. After calling FedEx I found out it is sitting at the D* FedEx facility in Fontana. I have called D* several time and keep getting the " I'm not authorized" to remove the charge routine. I told the last CSR that D* needs to call FedEx and get it straightened out. "It's been escalated" is what I keep getting told "7 to 10 days". It's been over a week and my father in law just got his bill and freaked.
What gets me is the idiot sent an HD receiver without setting up an install for the new dish! What good is it to have an H20 and a 2 LNB oval dish?
any help is appreciated.

have you while on the phone with the CSR request to be transfered to their manager or the retention department for your dispute? then if all else fails?
i "guess" sometimes the pen is mighty than the words?
since you got the tracking number from Fedx? i would have a official statement from Fedx with the tracking number and the current location. make a copy for your records! and send a polite letter with the Fedx documents' to D*, requesting the charges be dropped.
this might take awhile to get fixed. but i believe this is the best option (although i could be wrong) you have. since the CSR's is giving you the run around.
sorry i couldn't be more help to you.
How hard would it be for d* to get on the fed-ex site and check the tracking their selfs? They sent it they should have a tracking#.
