I am in an MDU. I have been using a Tivo with it forever using a Sonora destacker. I just got an HR20 and they told me to switch to a SCD-4P52W. Here are the results.
HR20 with a Sonora destacker. Can see all 3 satellites but no HD.
HR20 with the NAS SCD-4P52W. Can’t see any even transponders. Does not appear to destack.
I’ve talked to the seller of the NAS destacker and they say it’s a Sonora building and NAS destackers won’t work. Their basis for this is that it works fine on the Sonora destacker so it must be a Sonora stacked signal and it can’t be read by NAS
I’ve talked to ATT who resells DTV in this building and they say it’s all set up to work with both.
The NAS guy tells me that’s impossible. Anyone know the truth?
