I just replaced my two hr10-250's with hr20-700's
I want to activate one of my hr10-250's but need a multiswitch (I wanted to do it at the time I installed the hr20's but didn't mention that part beforehand so the installer didn't have a multiswitch with him).
I assume I need the Zinwell WB68 but I am wondering if I have Directv hook up the receiver, would I get the multiswitch for free or would I have to purchase it?
Where should I buy it if I do have to do that?

Call DIRECTV and ask if they can someone out to install it. It would have been free if you had it done when you got the HR20's installed as long as you needed it at the time. I would guess it still would be but not sure.

If they try to charge you and if you just want to buy it some where and install it yourself ebay, solidsignal.com, and newegg.com will probably be the cheapest.

question - I am receiving the new HR20 this week, and I have the old multiswitch.
I would like to future poof my setup, will the WB68 fit my needs, or will I need WB616?
2 line HR10 in basement
2 line HR20 in basement
1 line SD receiver in basement
2 line SD Tivo Directv in bedroom 1
1 line SD receiver in bedroom 2
planning on 2 line HR20 in kitchen in the next few months
Which one, and should D* provide it for me?
TIA!

DIRECTV will only supply the WB68 for free. You could get a 2nd one free when you add the 2nd HR20 and cascade them or run them in a parallel setup. You would probably be better off with a WB616 but the cheapest I have seen it is $130 at solidsignal.com and newegg.com.
