View Full Version : Please help with this
Hello all. I have been a long time lurker and have learned so much from this site. My problem is that channels 72-79 have been cutting in and out at night (8 pm - 7 am). Has anyone else experienced this? This has been going on for about three weeks. I have a tech scheduled to come on tuesday. The problem with this is that it will be working fine when he comes because it won't be during the above stated hours. By the way, I have the hr 20 with 5 lnb satellite. Thanks in advance for the help.

Please post your transponder signals on SAT's 110 and 119 now and post them again tonight when you start having them problem again. So we can see if they drop at night time and how much.

Welcome aboard.
My first thought it is environment related, weather/tempature. Maybe you're getting moisture or something along those lines in the LNB assembly.
Does this happen accross multiple receivers?
Thanks for the quick replies. Believe it or not, I do not have a computer at home. I am currently using the one at work. When I get home, I will make a note of those transponders you mentioned. HDTVsportsfan, I only have one receiver and have not had a problem with it since I got it in january. Everything else works flawlessly. Should I ask for a new dish when the tech comes out on tuesday? Would I have to pay for that? Any other advice? You guys are the best.
