Currently have a HR20, Directivo, and a standard receiver. When I got the HR20, I had to purchase a zinwell 6x8. My problem is I only have 3 out of the 4 lines coming in from the dish to my "hub". The installer ran one of the cables for the HR20 directly to the receiver instead of to my "hub"(where all sat cables come in and go out through the house). I'm guessing I'm screwed and will have to undo what the installer did to make this multiswitch work as I currently only have 3 lines coming in to it. My question is do I need all 4 lines from the dish to make the switch work properly or could I possibly have another problem?

Thanks in advance for any input you can provide.

Yes you need to run all 4 lines from the dish to the multi-switch for it to work.

wow.. who was your installer?
you need to have all 4 lines to your 6x8 and then hook all tuner lines to it..
I'm amazed that your current setup works at all..

And you should not have had to "purchase" a Zinwell WB68. It is supplied free (along with the 5-lnb dish) as a part of the standard install of the HR20 when you need more than four connections.

I should have checked into that a little more closely. I've been with Directv for 10 plus years now. I think I'll be calling them this evening to ask that they come out and my setup right.

Thanls again

Did you order your HR20 and 5LNB dish upgrade through D*? And as has been stated. all 4 sat lines from teh dish need to go to the MS.
