It seems like it ought to be possible to tweak DishLinux to provide MPEG2 streams to USB.
Then the data could be pulled onto RealVideo server and provided to clients on a LAN. (This would be better than tweaking a Tivo box because the content would need to be recoded.)
Has anyone investigated this, or know of other products that could do something similar?
