NOS Samsung DirecTivo's on the Circuit City Webstie, now reduced to $78. For all Tivo lovers, this is a great bargain. For folks having difficulties with the R15, this is a perfect solution.

Is this something new?
"Note: DIRECTV services are sold separately. A maximum of six (6) receivers may be leased per year, but not more than two (2) DVR receivers, two (2) HD receivers and one (1) HD DVR receiver may by leased in a given year. On approved credit. A programming commitment is required and sold separately."
It was on the CC page listed on above link. Sounds screwy. I have 3 dvr's and 1 SD.

They do have some limits... but DirecTV can override them.
It mostly relates to how much equipment is given to new customers, at reduced rates.

Is this a lease or purchased receiver? I'm guessing people are going to have problems with Directv blindly pushing the "Leased" button when you activate one of these.
