use your front panel buttons and go to menu then setup then go to remote and from there select reset remote and then just follow the on screen instructions

you might wanna try a reset everything from the setup screen to see if that might help. then try doing the reset remote again.

When I have problems I go back to default [IR] with front panel buttons and gain control again. FWIW

Ok that worked and the problems was the remote rc32 wold not work in RF
had to change to rc24. Before x2021 upgrade it must have worked even if I had the menu set to RF, must have just defulted to IR.

Thanks for the help.

I've read where the older software worked in both modes [set to RF and still sent IR], where the new version works in either/or.

OH yeah, the RC-32 isn't RF capable, you should have been sent the RC-34 that is. :nono:

I got the RC-32 with all my H20's (one 100 and two 600's) and finally got a RC-34 with my HR20-100.

What is the real reason for this 'forced' update?

I thought I read somewhere that it is for HDMI compatibility?

If my H20 is working properly over HDMI to my Samsung LCD is there a way to block this update?
I mean why break (remote issue with sb40) and cause problems to a working system...
