serious mac networking with wga54ag question

i have tried and tried to get it going with no succes, let's start with...i took it out of box, now what? don't know what to do next. realize this might be a long conversation

You need to first plug the ethernet cable into the game adapter and then into your PC. If you PC is wired just unplug the ethernet cable from it to set up the game adapter and then you can plug it back in when you are done. After you plug it into a PC run the setup disc that comes with it. It will take you through a few steps. After you completed the steps it should be set up. Disconnect it from the PC and plug it into the HR20. The run the network setup in the HR20 menu. Then you should be good to go. Let me know if this helps.

I have never used a mac but I would guess you will still connect it to the ethernet jack on it and it will work. The setup disc that comes in the box.

Dude you should have just gotten an Airport Express it's MUCH easier to set up especially with a Mac.
