Anyone use ReplayTV with DirecTV?

I gave my brother my ReplayTV unit (a showstopper 2000) and he has DirecTV. He is having problems getting the IR blaster to work with his box. He says it's not listed as an option, and he tried all the ones listed and he can't get it to work. He called Replay and they said they'd look into it. Has anyone had this problem, and if so, how did you fix it?
