Tribes Merge This Week

I just saw a preview for this week's episode, and all the Survivors are wearing new gold colored Buffs. That means they must merge for real this week.

I saw that today as well. Of course, the question is when will the merge happen? I'd assume before the immunity challenge, but who knows? Makes it a little difficult to vote, doesn't it? :shrug:

It appears that they merged during the reward (videos from home), as they showed them sitting around crying while watching the videos wearing their old Buffs, but after that was over they were still sitting around in the same circle, but had their new Buffs. It appears that this week will be another non-Reward Challenge week, unless there's some twist to the videos whereby someone can win a bonus.

SPOILER Speculation Ahead:

After watching the 3 promos out now closely, it looks to me like the ladder/net climbing obstacle course will be the reward challenge for the winner to get to see their entire video tape. Also it looks like the tribes will merge prior to the reward challenge, because Ted is wearing a gold buff on the ladder. The Immunity challenge looks like a Q/A session with the survivors writing on slates. Questions are probably asked of their loved ones back home and the survivors have to match answers - something like what they did in Survivor:Africa. So, my guess is they go to the reward challenge as 2 tribes, watch the clips from their video tapes from home, merge tribes then compete individually. I just hope they come up with a better name than "Chuay-Jai" for their merged tribe. What a lack of imagination!

Dang wish I had read all this before casting my votes! Oh well. I guess I should watch the previews more. I only watch the show. lol

Oh yes, the promos are definately vital for winning. I'm certain none of us in the top positions would be where we are without them.

Unfortunately however, it also means that those of us in the top positions seem to cast simular ballots. Cory and I march in step again this week, with no position gained or lost.

Yeah, guys, it's all about the Promos.  Watch very, very closely.   Well, almost all about the promos.  Watch the show carefully, too!!

Well that really bites for me, cause this is the only show I watch on CBS, and one of the few shows I even watch! Oh well, I am so far behind it is not funny any way. Gonna just start random guessing lol

I don't watch any shows on CBS either but Survivor. You can however catch the promos from the CBS Survivor website, as well as image captures from any number of other sources who follow the game.
