The new iLife suite is available and has some outstanding new features. iPhoto will automatically group photos into "events' by date. You no longer need to create albums in order to reduce skimming to find ones you one to print.
This will be a boon to EyeConnect users who haven't made albums of their library. I have over 2000 photos and trying to play a slide show is pain since I have very few albums. There is an entirely iMovie as well. At $79 it's a bargain compared to other A/V web suites.

I am so depressed. I found out my dual 1.25Ghz power mac can't run the new iMovie.
