NFL games question?

I was wondering if anyone had the same problem i ran across? Last week our cbs affiliate kdlh-3(out of duluth,mn) had the patriots/bills game on and when wasn't even done it was switched over to ravens/falcons. Todat's game was colts/eagles and before it was done they switched to chargers/rams. What gives? I was watching on directv giants/vikings on wynw. But i wanted to check on the other game and was switched. Does anyone know what a station would do this? Thanks,Jack

I am in a city that has a NFL team and this only happens if the local teams game is starting and the one being watched is not over.

Usually because a game of marginal interest becomes a blowout while another game is a nailbiter.
