Dish sent me the unit in August to replace another 501 with a failed hard drive ...this one has had no issues or bugs and it should still be covered under Dish's 1 year warranty. I purchased the extended warranty as well since it was only 2 bucks a month and they offer advance exchange. Also, ssince someone emailed me and asked this does not include the dish and/or dual lnb.
