Fry's has this Kingston RAM on sale and I want to know will it run in the new iMacs? It is the one on the top

These are the memory specs from Apple.

Anyone know if this RAM meets those specs? I have tried looking on the net and have seen that it is non ECC and thats about it.

Michael,

I'm not a Mac guy myself, but from reading the description on the RAM it appears to me this would work fine with the specs for the iMac.

Michael: Since the 2007 iMac's come with one 1 GB SODIMM installed, if you want to expand to 2 GB, you only need one module. The 2 GB kit you mention is TWO 1 GB modules. The kit meets the specs, but it isn't a single 2 GB module. So the answer is "No" if you're thinking of adding 2 GB.

argh, I just realized that. Thanks for your help. I guess I will look around the net for the best deal on 4GB of ram. I use imovie a lot and it will help.
