Sci Fi weekly news is reporting that SG-1 has been resigned by SciFi for a 7th season. RDA is coming back as star and producer. Also announced that Michael Shanks is coming back for season 7 (guess those offers weren't flooding in!). No announcement on the rest of the cast.

In bringing back M.S., I wonder if they are going to pull the Dallas "The Last Season Was A Dream" garbage...

Ray,

I guess you missed the Episode where Daniel helps O'Niell endure the tourchure he was put through in an early ep 6 show. So they have already established that Daniel can come back.

I guess Shanks had heartfelt conversations with Gary Burghoff, McLain Stevenson, Denise Crosby and most of the former cast of E.R. about their carreer decisions and decided to come back to the show.

Probably realized he couldn't afford to wait as long as David Caruso to get one more shot.

Nope, saw that episode. He came back, but was still one of the same creatures as Oma Whatevertheheck. I was assuming that he'd come back to be a member of SG-1, in which case he'd have to reassume his corporeal body and lose his acended powers...

Does this now mean that SG-1 would have 5 members? Or does Jonas die or go back to his world?

The rest of season 6 resumes in Jan (last episodes of Farscape as well).
