PPV lock behavior on 501

Due to having two small boys in the house who like to play with Dish Network remotes, I have set up the PPV lock feature on my 501 to prevent an accidental PPV purchase.

I ordered a sports package (ESPN Full Court) last week. Two games were on last night, and I had to enter the PIN each time I switched between the two games. This quickly became a PITA, so I disabled the lock (turning it back on after the games were over).

Is this the "correct" behavior of the 501? Do those of you with Full Court / Center Ice / League Pass see the same thing? I wouldn't expect to have to enter a PIN for a PPV channel that I have already ordered - it should only apply to PPV's not yet purchased. Is there another way to disable accidental PPV purchases while letting me switch games without continually entering a PIN?

I have the same issue with my 2 301 receivers with the NHL Center Ice package. Because of this, I've unlocked PPV so I can switch from game to game without putting in a PIN. I had PPV locked for a reason, so I'm not enthralled with doing that. In my opinion, it does not seem to make much sense to have a PPV channel already purchased be locked.

Probably this behavior applies due to the adult PPV channels, which are available as a fulltime purchase
