T. Howard(Home Satellite Pioneer) dies in plane crash

He was definitely a pioneer of the business. If I recall correctly, he was one of the founders of "Chaparral Communications", a company that made some of the best c-ku band receivers on the market along with a wide variety of c-ku band feedhorns, lnb's and other accessories. The SBCA has a foundation called the T. Howard Foundation that promotes employment of minorities within the satellite television industry.

I saw this on CNN today. During the story they showed many different satellite TV antennas and at the end they 'focused in' on a DirecTV dish.
