HDNet to be delivered by C Band

Marc Cuban has signed an agreement with Panamsat to deliver the existing HDNet + his 3 new services to cable companies via C Band.
Discussions regarding the delivery method are ongoing as Mark Cuban is not happy with the price of digicipher equipment quoted by Motorola.

So it looks like HDNEt is coming to your local HD enabled cable company in 2003

Another anonymous poster claiming to have secret knowledge of the demise of DBS. HDNet announced it would go to cable when it was formed. It just had an exclusive with DirectTV for a while to guarantee itself a carrier and get itself established. Several cable companies announced they would carry HDNet MONTHS ago.
