If I would have two of these? Would I be able to use picture and picture on one tv? Do I have to pay extra to activate the reciever? I would think so..

Yes, you could use PIP on your TV -- but it would be subject to the additional receiver fee. I will be selling my 301 pretty soon as well -- we are probably near neighbors.
