Yes, try that. Do you have a multiswitch? If so, which one?

no multi switch. Only have 1 tv hookup. I have a HR20-100. Never had any issues until today. It always has said searching for sat.... like it should..... going thru a reset now....
Reset seemed to work! :)

I have heard stories of people getting them faster with a phone call. I ordered on the web, took about 2 weeks.

Yeah I'll pick up 2 extras if I can... Thanks for the heads up. Not sure what was up with that.. Reset took care of it. I did come home from work and the unit was on with the blue ring light on (usually I have that turned off). I know we had storms here, not sure if the power was off and back on for a short time or not..

I ordered 4 on the web site. A couple of days later, 8 were delivered by FedEx - each in it's own nice, little bubble envelope. :)

I had the same problem on one of my H20's, not seeing a BBC that was obviously there, and had been fine before. Turned out on my end that the BBC was not fully screwed in. Never occurred to me that would be a problem, since I was still getting a picture, but as soon as I snugged down the connection, the issue went away.

I would just advise everyone out there to make 100% sure you've got working BBC's now, you don't want to miss out on what's coming soon.

I had a similar problem with my HR20-100. BBCs were connected and I got "searching for signal" on Ch. 499. I got a new software release downloaded a day later. Ch. 499 test then stated the BBCs were not connected. I scratched my head and walked away. Well, I had to move some cables around and I powered down the HR20 as part of the process, so it got reset. I checked CH. 499 on Sunday and I got the previous result - "searching for signal".
You noticed the blue light ring was back on and I understand that happens when you receive a new software download (assuming you had previously turned the blue ring off). So, maybe a reset is needed when new software comes down from the satellite.
