Is there any keystroke available on the remote that allows you to switch from your SAT1 input to SAT2? Seems to me that I could do that with the HR10-250 but I did not see any reference to this in the HR20-700 manual nor in the FAQs here...
TIA

No.
As there are no dual live buffers on an HR20..
Changing "tuners" on an HR20, is identical to changing channels.
Do a search on DLB to find a LOT more details on the topic.

Unfortunately no. There are no dual live buffers on the HR20. The only work around is to start recording one program(they have 1 button record, so no confirm screen like Tivo), then change channel to the other program you want to watch, THEN pull up the list of recording and bring up the newly started recording. Of course, this will start the recorded program from the beginning, so you will need to jump to the end, to be "live" again. Then after all that, you use the PREV button, to swap between them. A crude work around, at best and annoying because when the time slot ends, but the program is still going(sports), for the program you are recording, the recording stops and there goes the crude DLB. I actually still use my HR10-250 when I can, if I am watching sports, so I can still have DLB.
DLB has been a much requested feature, but Directv seem quiet about whether or not they will be or are implementing it.
