LOCALS UPDATE

Jacksonville, FL: DISH Network launched local programming from the Jacksonville, FL DMA on November 6, 2002.* The service is available for $5.99 a month and all major stations will be carried. Individual stations are not sold a la carte and Jacksonville locals are not available as a Distant Network.

Las Vegas, NV: effective November 7, 2002, Las Vegas was also added to our locals’ lineup. At this time, however, we do not have an agreement with NBC. We will charge $4.99 a month until the NBC Network is available. Individual stations are not sold a la carte and Las Vegas locals will not available as a Distant Network.

Buffalo, NY: effective November 21, 2002, we will be adding Buffalo to our locals’ lineup for $5.99 a month.

Jacksonville, Las Vegas, and Buffalo are not available as Distant Networks or on an a la carte basis.

Des Moines, IA will also be added on November 21. At this time, however, we do not have an agreement with ABC so we will charge $4.99 a month until we make the other network available.

Harrisburg, PA: on November 1, 2002, we added CBS (WHP) and UPN (WLYH) to the Harrisburg locals’ making this package now $5.99 per month. Harrisburg is not available as a Distant Network.

Fresno, CA: also on November 1, 2002, we added CBS (KGPE) to the Fresno locals’. With the addition of CBS, Fresno now has 3 of the 4 major networks for $4.99 a month. Fresno is not available as a Distant Network.

PROGRAMMING NEWS

The Holiday Music Channel is again available on Channel 982 for all DISH Network subscribers at no additional charge effective November 14, 2002!

iTV (interactive Television)
Dish Home is coming to all remaining Model 301 receivers at Channel 100! Effective November 19th, Dish Home will be available, via software upgrade, to all OpenTV enabled receivers which includes all Model 301, 501, 508, 3900 and 4900 receivers.

Dish Home offers great product differentiation as it is an exclusive product of DISH Network. Show this to a prospective consumer or demonstrate when installing a system...it's easy and it's free (Playin'TV is the only subscription service @ $4.99/mo; you can demo all the games or access one free game each week).

Dish Home available channels include: Zap2it, Playin'TV, My Scores, TV Mag, Pro Football, College Football, Lottery, Horoscope, Soccer, Instant Weather, *Customer Support (beginning slow rollout to Model 301’s on November 20th), and *News By Reuters (launching November 20th and more in production).

Currently, Model 3900 and 4900 receivers have Dish Home and Customer Support. On November 20, 2002, we will begin a slow rollout to Model 301s. The Customer Support channel allows customers to pay their bill, view statements, add channels, and get answers to frequently asked questions (phone line required).

We will keep you updated with a completion date. Models 501 & 508 receivers will get Customer Support after all Model 301s are complete.

The 721s are not yet included in this upgrade as they are not Open-TV enabled receivers; this capability is in development. Please note that DishPlayers are not scheduled to receive this enhancement.
