Dish Network AT150 Free Preview - 11/26-12/11

I just was visiting Dish's web site, and saw a promo for the AT150 package. "Tune into channels 265-297 for FREE between November 26 and December 11, 2002 and see what you have been missing." This is combined with a contest to win a check if you upgrade.

No, I don't know if you are automatically entered if you are already a AT150 subscriber.

Aggh! I hate when they do that, all those channels do is clutter up the guide even more.

I hate when they give channels away when all the rest of us have to pay for them. I think out Bill should be lowered when they have these previews. I am paying full price so a free preview is NOT free to me.

Now they will have to put some of the numbers back in the stream. I thought they were getting rid of the numbers from the last free preview slowly. Some are still there. Oh well, more clutter on the FTA receiver. :)

Where are you seeing this promo for the AT150 package. I looked all around the Dishnetwork site but saw no mention a promo. I was just getting ready to upgrade from AT50 to AT150. I could use the trial. How about a page link?

Actually the same channels in 2 places, requiring very little additional bandwidth.

OK, I finally figured it out. I never changed my profile when I became a Dish Customer last month. I was still setup as a "Get Dish" customer. I changed it to "Got Dish" and a whole new page popped up. I guess it is time to call it a day.
