After Installing exactly as in the manual and the SolidSignal video's, with AccuPro 22 meter I get the following readings off my receivers.
HR10-250 on 50ft cable:
101: 91 - 100
110: 94 - 97
119: 66 - 95
These are all slightly higher (4-8) on the 110 and 119 than with the 3-LNB.
But I have a H20 - 600 on 100ft cable with:
101: 13 (one transponder) 78 - 92
110: 77 - 82
119: 51 -71
99: N/A on all transponders
103: Transponder 1: 13
2: 13
3: 0
4: 40
5: 0
6: 10
I have the Premier package with HD and don't seem to be missing anything I have not had any particular quality issues.
I live on the Outer Banks of NC and don't believe there are any spotbeamed programming nearby.
Should I be OK on the new HD rollout?
Thanks for any suggestions.

What version software do you have on your H20-600? If it's 0xF14, your low readings are the [poor] software.

Thanks for the reply, the software is 0f14. What kind of difference does that make?
There is no phone line in that room. If I move it to a phone connection can I force an upgrade?

No, the upgrades come from the satellites. The earlier software versions in the H20's showed lower signal levels, even though they weren't lower.

The national release software 0xf14 on the H20-600 has a problem and the transponder signal readings show about 20% lower then they should be showing.
It will be fixed on the next update. The last couple of CE updates for the H20-600 has fixed the problem.

I'm confused by the "n/a for all" on 99 though. You should have 6 transponders listed but might not get any signals.

Just did a search of this forum and the Internet, can't find any thing to indicate I should receive something at 99. Not sure, but maybe when D11 goes up?
what is usually on the 99. I couldn't find any references. Overall does it seem like I'm in the ballpark for D10?

Old software is slightly different between the -100 & the -600. I've had both [with the old software] and one doesn't see anything on 99 and the other doesn't see anything on 103.
Both would give me my locals off 99 #1.
I can see 1, 3, 5 off 99 & 2, 4, 6 off 103 with my other receivers @ 95-100%. FWIW

Right now both 99 & 103 are local HD channels on spot beams. D10 & 11 will change this.

Finally got the 2024 update for my H20 and installed my HR20-700.
Here's the readings I now show on the 101,110, 119. Does this look good for the future 103b?

Your numbers for 99 and 103a are low, but if you have no spot beams near you then they should be low. I would wait until D10 goes live and then check 103b. That will tell you if you need to realign the dish.

Here's the actual data, previously posted (http://www.dbstalk.com/showpost.php?p=973609&postcount=56) back on 6/19:
"Reported Signal Levels vs. 0xF14
H20-600: (Second H20, downloaded 0x2019 tonight.) I put together a little table comparing reported signal levels vs. the 0xF14 most recent NR on all the tp's on the 101, 110, and 119 satellites:
Previous 70-75, add 20 points. Previous 76-79, add 19 points. Previous 80-84, add 16 points. 85 and above = 100.
Obviously, these numbers will make people feel better who are transitioning to the H20 from other equipment..."
