We have also lost MOR, 604. My husband really liked the programs. Please post if you find it moved to another channel number.

No, it's gone. A D* rep posted on another forum about how they're getting a lot of calls complaining that it's gone. Evidently their tracking system showed not many people watching it...

Here's my thoughts on MOR. I never watched the channel, but I think its great that they had it. I think D* should have every channel under the sun - that's realistic to have of course. I don't know if MOR was mostly infomercials or what, but, it didn't bother me in the least having it there. Also, if they're going to pull a channel because no one's watching it, then they should add a channel to replace it. If they don't have a channel to replace it with, why bother pulling it in the first place?

The Tennis Channel was added today.
Read on another forum that the company went bankrupt.

If they aren't, they will be. They announced 31 million household in April. Subtract 16.5 and they do not have much left.

Dish dropped them because they owed a ton of money, they announced bankruptcy. Im sure D* dropped them for the same reason.

MOR was on E also. But they went bankrupt, so Directv didn't remove it.

From what I read, the parent company to MOR had a very large advertising commitment form E*. Early this year, E* dropped them as an ad firm and then dropped their channels.
The sudden loss of revenue seems like it was too much too fast.

That stinks! :( They had some really good hunting and fishings shows from across the country. Figures... Cheap Charlie does us in again! :nono2:
