I haven't heard much talk about Moxi recently and wasn't sure it had much of a future - but it looks like they're going to have it out early next year -

I would quickly switch to any provider (Satellite or Cable) who would offer this option - it sounds like an awesome box!

I think the merger talks put everything on hold indefinately. But now everything else may start rolling back into discussion mode.

Paul Allen bought Moxi and rolled it into his Digeo operation. He signed an agreement with Motorola to develop cable Moxi based media centers. There are 2 models in pre beta teating now. Roolout is planned for Xmas/03 to Paul Allen's Chater cable & others.

Digeo recently signed a similiar deal with Scientific Atlanta

WOW Those are pretty neat units. Wonder how much extra your cable bill will go up.
