I just noticed this recently, and it did NOT used to be this way, but the Discovery HD Theater logo is off the lower right hand corner of my screen. The "y" on Discovery and the "r" on theater is chopped off. Is anyone else seeing this?

Let me add, that the west coast HD-CBS eye logo is perfectly placed in the lower right corner, not chopped off. So is it Discovery, or is the 6000 doing something wrong to the Discovery signal?

Discovery isn't taking enough overscan into account with their bug placement. Personally, I'd rather that they place it for 0% overscan...that way it'd be almost completely off the screen! :D

As long as others are seeing the same thing I feel better!

Don't worry as your tube ages you should see more and more of the logo. Tubes are set to overscan because as they age the picture tends to shrink.

My set is a brand new 55" rear projection Mitsubishi-HD

Unless you have a DLP or a LCD rear projection you will have CRT tubes in the rear projection. These tubes will age and the image will shrink. Now it is possible you could get to the service menu and adjust the size of the image so that the entire picture is shown. Then you will have to adjust the picture regularly as a section here and there will warp in/out a bit here and there.

Look on the bright side: They could do what FOX just did with their "High Resolution Widescreen" logo, they moved it into the 4:3 area of the picture.
