View Full Version : I got Network going but hit a snag?

I keep all my Music in Artist Folders on a Separate Partition on my HD and they are set to "Share". I have Playlists in WMP for the Artist I want and WMP opens and plays the Playlists fine. When I go to the HR20-100 and go to Music Playlists they are listed but when I try to play it says "No Files in that Folder"(Or something like that). What could be the problem?

Did you "authorize" the HR20 in WMP?

Yes it is authorized. The HR20-100 will show like 3 MPs but they are Songs that are in
C:\Documents and Settings/All Users

Check where your libray shares are in WMP11. Sounds like you may have found something to play with and figure out. You may also find that if you are mounting that partition frmo another computer then you have to share it from the source computer. You cannot share something that is not on THAT PC and expect it to work. I have not played with the directory structure in WMP's library to be able to advise you very well on this particular issue. Perhaps someone else will jump in here that has more information on that.

Thanks for the input. My Music Partition is on the Same Hard Drive as My OS and WMP11. I know there got to be some weird setting somewhere I need to tinker with.

You might need to rebuild the songs list.. but I forget how to do it.. microsoft has a document on their site on how to..
