I did a little bit of dish tweaking over the weekend and noticed that signal meter had been recalibrated during one of the recent updates to reflect lower values. From memory the actual signal strength now shown is ~2/3's what was there previously. While I don't care what the actual number shows on the screen, why would the current scale be preferrable over the prior one? Specifically, with a larger scale, ie a larger numeric range, smaller differences in signal are easier to see. Was there a specific reason for the change as I don't see why using a smaller scale to measure signal strength is advantageous  I can already hear someone saying that its hard to see the screen when you are up on the roof but that still doesn't explain why a smaller signal scale was now chosen.
