flint mi local hd channels

i have seen posted several times about flint mi getting hd locals. but they havent came yet nor has d* told me they know about this . any one have some info on when flint will get them?

Probably some time next year after D11 is launched. Earlier this year DirecTV stated that they wouldn't be adding too many more HD locals this year and would be doing the bulk of them in 2008 after both of these new sats are up and running.

That's pretty sad. In 2006 they said the Flint DMA would be added by Thanksgiving, then they said by Xmas, then they said in 2007. If it's moved now into 2008, that's pretty wrong. The only thing I really dislike from any company is when I'm told one thing and another happens. Don't make promises you can't keep, you know?
