Ok, I have signals on all transponders on 103(b), ranging from 91-97. However, I noticed that on 99*, I get very low strength, 22-65 (22, 65, 34, 0, 33, 60). What I be using 99* for anything? I have no international or LIL service.

Some places don't use the 99b satellite. We get all our locals from the 103a sat here in SoCal... on the 99b my signals are anywhere from 25-40%...

I had a 5 lnb slimline dish installed early this spring. Last night when I tried to check the signal strength on 103 like everyone is saying I got nothing. I only have 101, 110, 119. I am confused as to what is wrong. Any help is appreciated

you need to run sat setup and select 5lnb instead of 3

which is significantly better than a few days ago but nowhere near the 90's posted here. We are in Albuquerque, NM. I notice both coasts are reporting higher numbers now. Anyone else from this part of the country having same result? Otherwise, I'm going to the roof soon and tweaking :)

I checked last night and this morning. I'm getting signals of 95+ on all 103(b) transponders (South Central WI) . I also got the $0.00 StarzHD charge on my account over the weekend.
It sure sounds like they might be ready to light up the new HD channels tomorrow (9/19) as one retention CSR told me they would. I sure wouldn't mind getting the season finales of Monk and Burn Notice in HD.

swap the bbc's to see if the problem moves to tuner 2

I think it depends on when you check, they must be turning it on and off because I either get 90's or zeros at different times.

Thanks. I called my friends @DTV. They are sending out a technician on Sunday to fix me up.

PS- I told my csr that there are a lot of rumors floating around about when the new channels were going live. I asked her what her latest rumor was. She laughed and said, "the end of the month. That's what we've been told to say."
