Does DTV allow for this. Akin to a PPV type event where you can pay for just a single game?
Would be nice but I know of no such way to do this.

I believe it's $39.95 to do it. A couple of years ago, Burger King had some promo where the fee would be waved if you bought a Bacon Double Cheeseburger and had the right code on the wrapper.

I wish. But I wouldn't pay $40 for it. I'd say $9.99 would be a good price. That way I'm not paying for all the games when I only watch one and if I'm not going to be home, I don't have to pay for it.
They'd probably still make you pay the extra $100 for Superfan just to get it in HD!

you can order a full day of all the games playing that sunday for 44.99 per day, but not an individual game

So let me get this straight - you'd pay $11 for one game, but not $44 for 13 games ($3.38 a game)?

So let me get this straight - you'd pay $11 for one game, but not $44 for 13 games ($3.38 a game)?Yeah, I only care about one team. As it is now, I pay whatever $260 or something for 16 games.

Plus the $3.38 is misleading. It's hard to watch all 13. If the game is that good and it's not your favorite team, the NFL Network will replay it on Tuesday or Wednesday.

I subscribed to Sunday Ticket since the first year it was offered. I just dropped it 2 years ago. I believe the first year it was like $120, now the price is just outrageous. What really is ridiculous, is that you have to pay another $100 to receive the games in HD. Now it's $270 plus another $100...CRAZY!

From day 1, I wondered why you couldn't just subscribe to your out of market team, or as suggested earlier why not have them in PPV. $3.99 a game, or whatever the movies are going for.

And the reality is that you're actually likely paying for less than 16 days since at least 1 game will be a Sunday night game, at least 1 a Monday night game, and at least a couple will be National games. In the case of the Giants, they always also play 1 Saturday game. So you're really paying for like 11 games MAYBE.
But, I'm the sucker sending in the check.
i guess if you don't buy st you just suck as a sports fan huh ;)

But, I'm the sucker sending in the check.Well the Bills are only playing 1 Monday night game, so that makes it 15. It's highly unlikely they would ever show them here when the Bengals aren't playing at 1 on Sunday. They either play the Browns or Steelers then - although I do see the Bills are playing the Browns when the Bengals aren't playing at 1, so that makes 14 games that I need ST for.
