Yesterday the local newspaper had a short sidebar article on the satellite's pending launch since it was built not far from me. (If you happen to watch the Discovery Network's show about uses of gold, it was built in "rural" Pennsylvania. Newtown, PA AIN'T rural!)

Today's paper had a short sidebar article about the anomaly. Apparently the second stage failed.
