2 HR20s on same tv?

I need this not for the extra storage but for the 4 tuners (greedy i know).

I have 2 HDMI and component on the TV so that is no problem.

My question is should i run 2 more cables down for the second box or could i get away with a splitter on each current cable? Or would i need a diplexer (in which case i will run the extra cable).

Until SWM, you need 1 cable per tuner.

You cannot split the lines you already have.

You need to run two more lines or wait for the SWM to come out and you will be able to run one line from the SWM to each HR20 and the one line will control both tuners.

I knew I should have done it when I did the first run and the cat6. The wb68 is right above it so will be a 30 minute job at most.
