On the Standard Definition sunday ticket games, they black them out if you can get them locally. Last year, the High Definition sunday ticket games were not blacked out if you could get them locally. I live South of Buffalo and Directv doesn't have CBS in High Definition. Does anyone know if the Sunday Ticket games in HD are still going to be available (not blacked out) if you get them locally. I would hate not to be able to watch the Bills in High Definition. Its part of the reason why I have HD.

Always count on the HD games being blacked out as they are supposed to be. If they aren't blacked out for you then you are lucky. Last season for me the HD games were not blacked out until about half way thru the season when they started being blacked out. So I was lucky for half the season.

...and before a bunch of lucky folks start rightfully chiming in that they have never had an HD game blacked out -- all of my local Steelers games were blacked out in NFLST-SF just as the NFL intended.

Still get them locally in HD all the same though.

Yes Sunday Ticket games were blacked out but the Sunday Ticket games in High Definition were not blacked out cause I didn't have the local channel in High Definition. It was that way for the entire season. When I called Directv about it they said they would not be blocking out the HD games if I didn't get that station in HD. I still do not have the local channel in High Definition. Anyone have an answer for this?

certainly the rules that are in place for HD are different that the rules that are in place for SD. Waivers, for instance, are specific to either HD or SD but not both.
