Multi-Switch vs. Hard wire to Twin LNB?

I have 2 receivers and I have existing cable (RG6) running to a central point where the CATV used to be and I was wondering if it was "better" to use both lines from the twin LNB or just a single line and use a multiswitch. Using Dish500 with twin LNB, dp301, dp508. Thanks.

Well, after researching I conclude you can't do this anyway :( Correct me if I'm wrong.

Sorry - you must use both lines - one to each tuner. No shortcuts here...

However, should you decide to add additional tuners, you may find that it's a good thing if you pull all coax from the dish to a common point, then each location coming to this central point as well.
