Hi,

I've been a DTV coustomer for a couple of years mainly due to the sports packages.  I'm interested in Dish.  I currently have a round dual LNB dish with an external mulitiswithch.  Can I simply aquire a DishNetwork receiver, and hook it up to the vacant output on the multiswitch (and call DishNetwork for service of course)?

thanks

No.

Dish Network's main satellite slots are at 119° and 110°. DirecTV's is at 101°.

I'm pretty sure that by Multi-switch you mean a divise that allows a dual LNB to feed 4 TVs.

Dish network require different types of switches. They are supplied with the system depending on what you need.

See ya
Tony

Thanks Tony, I think I'll go ahead and sign up with one of the Digital Home Plans and get the free install/equipment.
