The famous Location ID on the system info screen. What is it? Why does it change?

It is a tool DISH uses to determine if all the receivers are at the same address. It is used when adding receivers 4, 5 or 6 usually, They ask for the numbers on all of the receivers in the same phone conversation. Since they change, it is not likely one could have the correct numbers from 2 different locations at the same time.
