"Quincy, M.E." was from the late 70s and early 80s. It also suffered from the "Quinn-Martin desease"
I don't remember another "forensics" show. :)
"Diagnosis Murder"? LOL!
See ya

i know it wasnt any of the shows above this show was on in the 80's or early 90's thanks though for racking your brains.
Hi, John! :hi: Is that really you? :D:
Good to hear from you & happy to see your EKB in the spotlight again.
I think jbuff nailed it. It was definitely Unsub, which aired a handful of times on NBC and also starred Jennifer Hetrick (Jean-Luc Picard's old lover) who still puts a lot of today's hotties to shame. Your description of "booties" and "blue neon light grids" pretty much describes my most vivid memory of this excellent yet not-much-seen program. This show was always much more compelling than CSIM has been, ever. Due to the current trends, some enterprising bottom-feeder like Bravo should pick these old eps up cheap and let us see them again.

I remember a grizzled old cop on the team used the phone-book memory trick.
Perhaps Trio will pick it up. "Brilliant but Cancelled."
