I agree with most of it and would add a few suggestions:

- Contract a few teams
- Once you step in the batter's box, you stay there
- No more Fernando Vina bat waving for 30 seconds before each pitch crap
- Put 6 inches back on the mound
- Minimum set of dimensions for ballparks
- Most Outstanding Player Award
- Steroid use = lifetime ban
- Consistent and uniform enforcement of strike zone
- No owner-commissioners/Bud Selig fired

I agree with all of them except:

- Steroid use = lifetime ban
This is way to strict, people make mistakes
- Once you step in the batter's box, you stay there
If the pitcher can step off the mound, the batter should be able to step out too.

One more:
Earlier starts on key games such as
the All-Star game and the World Series.
8:35 pm is too late for two-thirds of
the country.
Sorry West coasters. I'm not staying up
after midnight anymore just to see the
conclusion of a play off game.

I agree with a lot of what he says..

No contraction, though. I remember when 1M attendance was considered a LOT. Now, Montreal's 812K this year (up 30% form last year) is considered pathetic (2nd worst only to Florida). I've been a long-time fan of the Expos and there are a lot of reasons for that situation and contraction isn't the answer. Look at the Twins. And remember, the minority partners of the Expos (who were shifted against their will to being minority partners in the Marlins) have a RICO case going against MLB (on hold - guessing they're trying to settle).
