Sick of Commercials

I am retired and I watch more TV than most. I have a beef with TV broadcasts that show the same commercials over and over and over. Sometimes the commercials take up a third of an hourly show. Sometimes the three minit commercials come every ten minits and sometimes sooner than that. I would like to start a poll and hear your opinion on this. It seems the commercials come more often than they used to. The public is supposed to own the airways and they should voice their opinion.

Specially sick of any commercials with Peyton Manning in them.

That's why DVRs are a godsend. They are well worth the cost.

Also Netflix. You can get a lot of series on DVD shortly after they are on TV.

Mr. Transplant. You need a DVR of some kind. I don't watch commercials anymore on any of my favorite programs. I simply put them down on the hard drive and watch them a bit later than they come on. A DVR changes the way you watch television

eh. commercials keep tv cheap.

most people hate 'em, but if you think about it enough, unless you wish your pay-tv bill to double, commercials are a love-hate thing.
