HD Access added TODAY in the Recent Activity for my account

Check your online DTV account. I have a charge named 'HD Access' for $8.33 and also a credit by the same name and amount. It was added TODAY!

I wonder if this means they are adding the new packages!?! :D:hurah:

I'm not sure if this is what Earl mean't by the HD disappearing, etc., but I figured I'd post it just in case.

Old news guys. It's been reported here for a couple of days. It depends on where you fall in your billing cycle as to who apparently got the line items added first and how much they were for.

+$2 - $2 here the amount is prorated based on your billing date closer to the date the lower, the farther away the higher mine is the 19th

I am guessing, but I just had the thought that they won't turn on any of the new channels until this account activity is done. They probably don't want tons of people calling saying they heard that such and such a channel is now HD, as posted on DBS Talk, but I am not getting it in HD.

Same here, but I also have Sports HD and Starz HD charges for $0.00 as well. I do subrscribe to both services so I guess this is for the "upgrade" t the HD channels in those packages.

The way I read it if you already have those packages and pay for HD access then you get the HD version for free.

Really strange :girlscrea I sent D an e-mail about the HD Access. And when the page came up thanking me for sending the e-mail off to the far right of the page was ALL MY PROGRAMMING including HD ACCESS :confused: :eek2:
