There are lots of options for those stuck in front of the tube during the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.
First of all, there's always football on turkey day. New England will take on Detroit at 12:30 p.m. EST on CBS, while Washington will travel to Dallas for a 4:05 p.m. EST game on FOX.
On AMC, movie buffs can catch the "Movies You'll Thank Us For" Thanksgiving festival, airing through Saturday, Nov. 30. The four-day festival encompasses a myriad of blockbuster hits including, "Nine Months," "Married to the Mob," "Lawrence of Arabia" and "African Queen."
The Game Show Network will deliver its viewers' top 12 game shows of all time during the "Feast of Favorites" Thanksgiving Day marathon. The 12-hour marathon airs Thanksgiving Day from noon to midnight (EST).
On the satellite side, HBO and Cinemax are serving up a special dish to all DirecTV customers. Beginning Nov. 28 and continuing through Dec. 1, HBO and DirecTV will offer a free preview of all HBO and Cinemax channels. This free preview, offering seven channels of HBO and three channels of Cinemax, is available exclusively on the satellite TV service.
