I have no clue what is going on but today I have had to reset my box six times because when I went to change channels it said "searching for signal" despite having perfect signal on all of the sats before. All of the TP's magically go to zero. Any suggestions? I think I am just going to have to see if they will send me another box this is getting old quick.
Woohoo D* is sending me a new one no questions asked. She was real quiet on the phone, better make sure I actually get an HR20.

I have no doubt you did the right thing. Let us know how it turns out.

This happened to me as well. Was recording Ark vs Alabama on ESPNHD and about 2.42 hrs into the game searching for signal and My recording from that point was dead. This box is only 1 week old hope it is not dead

Generally most electronics fail early in their life or not at all. I hope you're fine but if it does happen, you should be able to get a replacement quickly.

I guess what is scary is even though I've had so many problems these first few weeks of DirecTV, I would not go back to cable. D*'s programming is so far in advance of cable it isn't even funny.
CSR was real quiet but said it would be here in two days (I assume two business days). My last replacement HR20-700 had sound cracking on the HD Nationals. Perhaps this replacement will also help clear up my pixelation on my HD Locals.
I forced a software update on my current HR20-700 last night, hopefully that helps too with things in the meantime.
