Just got my 721 yesterday and have noticed that the PVR is not recording at the time specified. For example, it was recording a 10:00 PM program at 3:00 PM. The PVR Record Events screen corresponds with the proper time. The little clock on the PVR events screen is also reading 3:00 I was attempting to do a recording of the end of a show I was watching and the "Done" button that indicated you made the selections desired from the Start recording options changes color when the "select" button is pushed but screen remains. Its seems my CLOCK is wrong but I canno find anywhere to change it. HELP!!

I believe that everyone has had this problem. It resolves itself on its own. You will just have to wait till tomarrow, (it takes 24 hours).

My 721 did this when I first starting using it.

To fix it, I just did a cold restart of the 721. What I did was just unplug it after turning it off first. Then I plugged it back in and turn it back on.

It's just the flakyness when the 721 is first used. Scott recomends that on a new 721 that one just let it sit for an hour or so after Dishnet sends the autorization while it does the thingys that all new 721s goes thru. :)

Even so, I had to do like 3 cold starts in the first 6 hours when I first got my 721 turned on to get rid of the flaky thingys that I found while getting used to the 721. Otherwise, it's been running just fine since that first day.

If it is still is flaky after about 6 or so hours, just do a cold restart.

Thank-you for your response. When I was giving my second (older) receiver remote a new address, it was necessary to power off and unplug the 721. I fumbled around for awhile assigning the new address. When I plugged the 721 back in, the time was right and the PVR worked properly- Just like you said. It was so weird because the time on the guide was right.
Thanks for the response!! It works!
