Anyone have any idea why? All I can get is prologic. Any E* subs getting the same thing?

Glad to see I'm not the only one who noticed that. Maybe it has something to do with the Free Preview weekend? I noticed when I flipped to Starz or Showtime, those channels that DO get DD signals showed up on my info bar (Mitsubishi DD receiver) as getting the DD signal.
Odd.

Same here, Directv has no idea, because pay per view come in DD ok. This sucks and I have sent a email to HBO but I really would like a phone number to complain to!

1-800-DIRECTV is the number to call. This problem does not originate at HBO, it originates at DirecTV.
Please complain, they say that I am the only one thus far (although the posts on the TiVo Community forum would indicate otherwise...)
I told them that the cable company never cut my premium channel DD, even on "free preview" weekends. I think they should either keep the DD on free weekends or stop having the free weekends if it means inconveniencing paying subscribers.
HBO was doing a separate feed for DirecTV since the preview was only on DirecTV. The HBO/Cinemax promos that run between movies were covered by pitches to subscribe to HBO and Cinemax. This separate feed that DirecTV was gettting explains why it wasn't 5.1
Dish had the regular feed since they were not offering the free preview.
