After all the new HD Channels launch (including the National RSN Feeds), if I subscribe to, let's say, NBA League Pass. Will I be able to watch all the available HD games from all the RSN's that broadcast in HD?

You'll be able to watch the HD feeds for games in your area. The games outside of your area will be blacked out so you will need NBA LP to watch those games.

That's not what he was asking.
If he buys League Pass, will all the available HD games be available in HD?
I know the reason I didn't buy League Pass last year was because the vast majority of games were in SD (even if they were available in HD to locals).

Yes, I'm pretty sure that's the main reason they want to move the RSN's to national coverage for HD access to sports subscriptions such as MLB, NBA, and NHL. I'm not sure how they work things now but in the past they would remap the RSN to a different channel for sports subscriptions.

Sure, all you have to do is fork over more $$$ for the Superfan package of whatever sports subscription you are ordering.

Yes, if you subscribe to NBA League Pass you should get all the HD versions on the RSNs that are up there. All NBA League Pass does is open up the RSN games from being blacked out. If you've never noticed you could actually watch the game on the RSN in the 600's vs. the LP channel in the 700s. But it will have to be the same feed. So if there are 2 feeds in the 600s (home and away) whichever feed LP is showing is the one that's opened up in the 600s.
This is the way it was worked in the past anyway. I wouldn't guarantee anything at this point but it should work this way.

That's what I was hoping. But tell me something, from what I have read so far I thought FSN Florida and Sun Sports would be offered Nationally not just on Spot Beam. Is that true? those are the 2 I want to be able to get in MN more than anything.

ALL RSN are "supposed" to be offered nationally in HD

Would this also go for NHL Center Ice? In the past, the RSN was not opened as well as the separate CI channel.

Actually, it was. You just had to catch the right one. Only 1 of the 2 was opened up.
What would be nice to know, however, is if say the Isles are playing the Devils on FSNY HD, if I tune to ch 767 or whatever, will it be in HD or SD? This is important for us DVR owners. I need to know which channel will be in HD before I go to work in the morning, or I will be watching SD games all the time again.

They will be offered nationally, but sporting events will be blacked out per that events blackout rules.
I.E., you will not get MLB, NHL or NBA games from those channels unless it is your local RSN or you subscribe to League Pass, Extra Innings, etc.

I haven't seen anything on NBA or NHL HD games. I don't think anyone actually knows what will be available at this point. I'm sure they will want the HD games out there but D* has only said that NFL and MLB games will be in HD for the upcoming seasons (including the current season for the NFL). There may be a Superfan, there may not be.

Currently, the put HD and SD on different channels but that will be problematic when all sports packages go HD.
I guess they will do the HD/SD on the same channel thing as they are doing with locals and the new national HD stations.
That would mean you would get HD if the game is in HD. SD if it is not, right?
