Call from DTV to make sure BBC's installed

So I got my first call from DTV today to make sure my BBC's are installed. Perhaps this is a good sign that tomorrow is the day!

I just got the same call, they are calling to make sure BBCs are installed.... nothing else.

The New HD is coming soon... You must have b band converters installed etc etc etc... It's a recorded message, probably calling all customers that have HD equipment....

I too received a call this afternoon (received one a few weeks ago too) to make sure my gear was connected properly. Patients may be a virtue, but HD is an addiction. Feed the beast already!

I got the call too, my second one. Got one early this month. Interestingly, I was getting no signal on 103B on one of the lines so I had an installer here. When he checked the lines he said, oh, you don't need the bband converter that is only for locals!! And I said, no, D* told us we needed it for the new channels. And the guy said he's been doing this for 9 years!! Once again, I'm just NOT impressed with D* installers (plus the manger from the installer company gets on the phone to see if I was happy with the service, and THEN proceded to try and sell me an ADT alarm system!!)

Got mine today although they've been calling me for a while now and I've just ignored them and not picked up. This time I finally decided to pick up to find out what the hell they wanted. Thought they were looking to sell something but a las it was just to make sure I installed the BBCs.

Not sure if the rest of you ordered some from their website like I did as I had misplaced the ones that came with my receiver. Maybe that's why they were following up.
